A Note of Compassion for the Military Families at Fort Hood
Friday, November 6, 2009 17:26Posted in category Nadia's Ramblings and Updates
As an Army wife, I wanted to extend my sincere prayers and thoughts to all the lives lost and damaged by the events that took place yesterday at Fort Hood in Texas. It was a senseless tragedy that so many brave men and women came under fire on their own soil, within their own fortress of solitude. My thoughts and prayers go out to each family stationed there.

That absolutely breaks my heart. And then the very next day it was overclouded with another shooting story. It is horrible

Vicki,
It breaks my heart, too. I read in the paper the day after it happened that one soldier had said, “Overseas–we are ready for stuff like this. But here…we can’t even defend ourselves.” That just brought me to tears. Let’s keep all the victims of these senseless acts of violence in our prayers!
